We all scream for.... Mum's homemade icecream pops!

In the warmer months after school, my kids pile out of the car and start begging for ice blocks like dehydrated camels. Today is the first really warm day we have had and as soon as the car started in the school carpark "Mum, I NEEEEED an iceblock".

Luckily I anticipated this...

Because of EJ's dietary requirements, we can't buy the easy, el-cheapo ones from the supermarket, unless we are prepared for craziness. Which we aren't. So I ordered these cute Zip-Pop bags from ebay - and made my own.

Woolies had cheap strawberries, so I bought a few punnets, chucked in a pot of natural yoghurt and a few tablespoons of sweetened condensed milk (that stops it from getting icy and sweetens it at the same time)

Look at it's creamy goodness.....

Happy kiddies all around and they thought it was DELISH! :)

Stay tuned for further ice-pop experiments!
