While I was hunting around for some fat quarters I was sure I had in a box, I pulled out a quilt top I had assembled in 2010, but hand't put the sashing on!! I stared at it in amazement! A whole entire quilt top I had forgotten about! How is that even possible??
So I made a quick dash to Spotlight for some sashing, backing and binding and got to work attaching the sashing and making up the backing. I dug out some wadding scraps that I had in a box in storage and pieced it all together to make up one piece large enough for this quilt. It is now basted and ready for hand quilting over the coming winter. What a wonderful find!
