FINALLY! A WIP project that isn't a crochet square!!! Yesterday I had the absolute pleasure to sit down with a movie and finish hand quilting the lonestar blocks. Now all I have left is the border which I am going to mark up today and get a start on it. The end is nigh!! I've been working on this quilt since April last year... what's that? 17 months?
Unfortunately the purpose of this quilt was for my queen size bed.... and for our anniversary late last year we got a king sized bed. Woops! Ah well... I have a project in mind for our king sized bed... and we can't possibly upgrade to a bigger bed, so I should be safe to proceed! That's a project for next year.
