A bag for DD's "laptop"
My DD has a toy laptop, which she plays educational games on. Anyway it didn't come with anything to store it in, so I have made her a bag. Apart from a few minor mistakes, and hiccups, I am really happy with it.

Mop's Quilt - updated
I am finally finished cutting up the squares and strips for Mop's quilt. Here they all are. It took me quite a while, but I got there.

So I'll start piecing these when I go to QLD, since I can't use a sewing machine in the car. :) It will keep my hands busy on the long trip and during quiet times on our break. :)

I'm not lost...
I have been that busy with my studies, so haven't had time to create wonderful things - much.
I've started cutting up Mop's quilt fabric. I have piles of squares and rectangles - ready to start bagging up for when I go away. I am planning to hand sew that one, so it will be perfect for in the car.
I'm almost finished quilting Olivia's quilt. I'm really happy with how it's turning out. I am planning to go to spotlight to see if they have any wax to stop my thread from knotting up though - that drives me crazy!
I have just received a lot of fabric from freecycle, so I will be able to make some more shopping bags, fabric baskets etc. There is another lot of fabric on the way, so will sort through that when it gets here, and start deciding what I want to do with it. I want to finish cutting up Mop's fabric first - so I'll probably get that done in the next day or so.
Well I better press on, I have another lecture and packing to do for the weekend away.

A random act of kindness to me!
A W.I.P
This is the finished patched top of Olivia's quilt. Olivia isn't born yet - so I have 15 or so weeks grace. I am quilting it by hand - so I need to get a wriggle along. Hopefully I get it finished before she is born. :)

I'm going to have to learn better photography skills - so my stuff actually looks good! :)

I have a small problem...
... see that list of blogs on the side there? It keeps growing!!
I just LOVE craft blogs. I love being inspired. I love seeing just how clever some people can be. I love seeing creativity being displayed.
*sigh*
I keep finding more and more that I love and that I think are awesome. Trouble is finding time to read them all!! :)
Oh well... it's a terrible problem to have! :)
