I've been really busy these last few days. I've been sorting out all the millions of digi-scrapping stuff I have, seperating kits and putting the pieces into easier to find places. Papers are now color coded, elements are into folders - so if I want a flower, I look in the flower file - not about 25 kits to find the right one. I deleted 1.6 gig of digi-scrapping stuff I don't like or looks dodgy. I've been very productive!

I'm going to attempt this skirt.

Let me be perfectly clear. I was deemed "absolutely hopeless" at sewing in school. My home ec teacher washed her hands of me. I got a big fat D for sewing. I sucked very badly.

12 years later, I am going to brave making myself this skirt.
I bought the fabric and pattern today. I resent paying $40 for a skirt that I could pay half that in fabric and come up something something I made and something that is totally me.

I think I might ask DH for some patterns and fabric for my birthday so I can make some clothes, instead of buying them. :)

Anyhooo.... This is the pattern and fabric. What do you think??

Altered Clock - done!!

I made this clock for dear friends of ours for Christmas. I have placed hearts over their faces digitally - they aren't really on the clock. :D I just don't have their permission to show their faces - so covered them.

But you get the general idea of what it looks like. I'm really happy with how it turned out.

Christmas Baubles

I had trouble with close up shots of these, the flash and all making it look rather hideous. No flash made them blurry :( But you get the general idea.

These baubles are for friends to go on the outside of Christmas packages as a little extra. I'm really proud of these. Mum taught me how to do them Monday and I've been making them pretty much every day since. Mum has been very kind letting me take over her craft room and letting my boy run wild in her garden and my baby girl sleep in a very comfy cot.

I have other stuff I am working on I promise - but haven't finished them - so can't show you. But I HAVE finished this. Every year I do a layout of the kids Christmas shoots I do for their albums.

I love this photo! I want to blow it up and put it on the wall! But will have to be content for now to digi-scrap it.

I actually scraplifted this - I saw it elsewhere and thought it was a nice design.

Christmas Cards

This is Christmas 2008's Christmas cards. I am really happy with how they turned out. I still have to make my Mum and Dad one - because I like to personalise theirs. But other than that, Christmas cards are done! WOOT - now onto the million other things I have to make.

Twister gone mad..

This psychodelic cool, spin out for free spots are the beginnings of my son's quilt. I just have to learn how to blind stitch or needle turn... not many detailed (with pictures!!) tutes out there... and as my home ec teacher said many moons ago - I am hopeless with this sort of stuff... Oh well I'll get there..
