Dad's Mousemat
Nappy bag done!
Look what I made!! It's my new beaut nappy bag that will hold three kids stuff! I got sick of carrying around 3 bags. :)
I just filled it with the stuff, and discovered that it should probably have a zip or something like that to keep it closed. I'll nip into spotlight on the weekend to sort something out.

Apron complete!
This apron is for my neice for Christmas. I was thinking of embroidering her name down the bottom, but I'll see how I go.
This took me about 7 hours to make. I guess I'll get better as I do more sewing. It's made with some left over material from my nappy bag - which I am still making. LOL
My daughter loved it so much she tried to con me into giving it to her! I might have to make her one later. :)

All talk...
After all this talk of working on my digi-scrapping while I was away... I am embaressed to admit that I spent my time doing other stuff....
This is all I accomplished.

Oh well... better than nothing I guess.
The shade of the eucalyptus, the glorious sunsets, chatting with our friends and drinking wine was much more enticing I'm afraid. :)

Fabric for E's quilt
Before I went away on holiday I went to Spotlight and bought this fabric for Sir E's (my son) play quilt.

This quilt is designed to sit on when we are in church or people's places, and to play with his toys on - then tuck him up in the car in winter with it when we have a drive home in the evening.
I did a rough design of what I wanted and this is what I came up with. Patched squares on the outside, striped binding and appliqued circles on a white background in the center.

I won't be working on this much anytime soon. I have half a hundred Christmas presents to make and just over 2 months to make them. I need to shake a leg!!
